Besides, I had my Clown Class at UC Riverside learning Commedia Dell' Arte with UCLA's Visiting proff. John Acorn. I'm not funny I barely managed to pass that class. Haha. I just guess I don't like being laughed at..I'm much better as the straightman rather than a zany anyway. But hahah the practical joke we had to pull on the audience before intermission was one of our final exams. We were planted in the audience..and during intermision while the whole audience had just begun to file out..we start pretending we were being bitten by fleas..and start scratching...little by little and then worked up into getting on stage to help scratch eachothers backs and then taking a bow. We had people asking us if we needed help..it was great.
Well I've always loved Plastic man and the circus so This was great combo to work on.
Everything was handrawn, then painted photoshop and for the poster I used Illustrator's vector based Pen tools. Then I went back to photoshop for the special effects, texturing, lighting and fonts.
The poster I drew inspiration from an actual Barnum and Bailey poster, but the graphic Design was a bit weird for me so I took it and improved upon and made it my own.
I even went farther and did the poster aginst a brick texture, but GA'er said just the poster so her it is.
