What can you say on a day like today?

Hi, :( I know this isn't good news...but I wasn't expecting it either.

Just wanted to let you know someone was found dead in our apartment building this morning. Supposedly it's considered a suicide by the police , but none us on the premises knows all the details. It's the sort of thing you don't want to hear before breakfast and and I didn't feel like talking much ..I just left for class early and went into the classroom and turned on all the lights. I've only had 5 hours of sleep..and it's just barely registering now. I found out that it was our former handyman Patrick who lives in 103..his girlfriend supposedly is leaving for New York. my roomate said and he was always getting drunk and had a long bad history with women.

It's just at around 8am his current girlfriend comes screaming down the hall and said "He hurt himself, he hurt himself!" I had to let the police and paramedics in to the entrance (right outside the door). I just saw the lady prostrate on the welcome mat ..she didn't go back inside. All the neighbors despite looking blase..are really shook up.

I'm okay, I think..I had to pray..that his soul will be released from torment/limbo. I hope his death won't lead him to haunt the building. We already have a ghost in school. She was a prostitute who died by hanging herself in the Keating building when it was a hotel.

I'm just sick to my stomach..or maybe its food poisoning. I'm saddened, remembering he was the guy who put in our blinds backwards when we first moved in. He wasn't a very good handyman though...

I've got to get back to work . I just wanted to let you know what happened and how I'm feeling.

Happy B-day to me!

Feeling Frosty bought a Ringling sweatshirt..which suspiciously has the same font as the Apple/ Mac ads..hmm is it a coincidence? nahhhhhh..with as many of my proffessors preach the gospel of macs during lectures..I wouldn't be surprised. Hey I prefer PC's , but in this world you have to be able to work and understand both systems you know.

Happy b-day to me..I'm going out for sushi, just completed my sushi paintings which teacher now wants me to paint copies of Edward Hopper(color) and Thebauld(dessert paintings..pies and cakes).My food looks so simple and yummy. Whee I finally got a comics assignment. Also my thesis is going to be a graphic novel too..sweet!!

My neck ache is back again even worse..it just dislocated while I just shrugged my shoulders...I need a chiropractor on call. dang! But my headches from under the skull to the top of my noggin now. I need to go to the doctor, again.But i hope I can recover over the holidays. Then I can get an adjustment, acupuncture and a massage.I rather have that then being reliant on pain killers.

Feeling Frosty

So I'm stuck with a sore throat as it gets colder, it's like overnight it goes from 85 to 65...brrrrrrrr! Winter's coming and so are the snowbirds. I was in my costume trying to keep warm on Friday for the costume contest that our clubs are sponsoring and my legs were pretty cold, while the rest of me was in a wig and heavy suit jacket.

My other costumes are coming soon and my boyfriend wants to see me in them...okay me in Boston, in the snow, wearing those costumes? I don't think so! I'll wait until next spring to do so. Those costumes are thin and skimpy , not for the hyperthyroid person who can't stand cold or has never lived in a place that has snow. I've only seen or been in snow 5 times and only for a day. Sorry Honey I love you but I don't want to catch pneumonia!

Now to have some chicken soup!

Happy Halloween

It will be if I can even get my back up costume on time. I ordered one three months ago , but due to it being made in another country, it got my costume made and shipped to the wrong address faster than an airport can lose my luggage. Now it won't be ready until next month. I'll still get to wear it for next year's con season. Now I'm hoping my costume will arrive in time for the Costume party our club is cosponsoring at school. I'm also on the planning commitee. So I'm going to be really pissed if I have to go in my older gear. So far I got the accesories , shoes and wig , but i'm waiting on the costume itself. I messed up cutting the wig,but it's better to have wig than to commit myself to a hairdo that might conflict with my wavy hair and the humidity(frizz/poof).

But I'm hoping for a good turn out and like Haruhi Suzumiya I will drag my members to the event if I have to. MWHAHAHAHAHHA.

This Halloween I hope to go as Yuki Cross from the Manga ,Vampire Knight by Matsuri Hino which became popular because of the School Uniforms. Black suit for Day class and white suit for night. Women have blazer shirt,bow, slacks, knee highs and (a cross btwn)granny boots/docmartins for shoes. Men have a victorina high c0llar shirt suit and tie. And each gender has awesome jewlrey pins and tie clip for the guys and girls get the academy necklace and bracelet. The trim or motif on the unforms of roses and thorn fangs give the uniforms their distinct look.

Seriously Sketching

Trying to sketch boyfriend and his cat , I've found a good book on Chiaroscuro..but when I go to recommend a book to someone that I bought or helped me I can never remember what the title was exactly or who wrote it. ..I think they make the titles too long ^^; Brain farts at my age.

I'm really excited for tomorrow the author of Dinotopia is coming to do a demo tomorrow. I just bought his book in order to get his autograph. But his oils are fantastic so I can't wait to see what techniques and mediums he uses it in oils. I hope I don't forget my camera for videos. I still have to post my Yoshitaka Amano videos on You tube. It would be so cool to have these to share with everyone.

Well I got to get back to my class now.

Welcome to the World, Politics are my Fodder

Once upon a time or about now, there is a an illustrator who can't wait to graduate. She endures school and wonders why is she paying 20k a year to get a second bachelor's degree. She is wondering how to be a business person as well as an artist. Just wondering will she be prepared to compete out there . I feel it is akin to being thrown in the pool with just maybe some floaties on..it happened that's how my parents taught me to swim. At least they gave me some floaties..now the world is of course a trapese or highwire act..gotta make sure there is a safety net.

Well you gotta keep up on the economy and Politics...or haven't you heard our dollar has weakend against Canada as well as the European Union. Most of America doesn't even knpow that were being bought by foreign firms like never before since the 80's. Even our highways and ports don't belong to us. "you know Nation," were being weakened to point where to compete Bush and his cronies in mexico and canada will make us join "a NorthAmerican Union. No more Greenbacks..they will be replaced with one currency the "Amero". It's been kept out our mainstream press but was leaked. Also there is the NASCO(NAFTA super highway a highway from Mexico through the US to Canada. It's being built right now in Laredo Texas. Look it up on Youtube. In 2006, Bush, (then Mexico's Prez Vicente Fox) and former Prime minister of canada all signed the NAU into being. So secretive even congress wasn't aware it.

If we become like the European Union we'll lose our soveriegn right/ or Constitutional rights to be our own country..it will null and void under a new North American Union Constitution.
Please take me seriously and not as a conspiracy theorist. I rather be thought of as Ron Paul Supporter, but that's another story of suppression..I would never had of him..if I had kept to the mainstream press. Online you can see news from all sides right, middle, left and up someone's ass!

It's scary learning to be a cartoonist, I thought fundamentalist ministers gave me a hard time...but look what happened with that Dutch cartoonist who made fun of Islam and got death threats. Now it's new stuff you gotta worry about. the world's getting angrier and free speech in this country is being restrained heavily.

I hope to vote for Ron Paul, but instead of Republican I hope he runs the independant ticket.
I'm a woman , but I don't want to vote for Hilary, I've had enough of her first eight years of the white house. I was going to vote for Obama, but it was mostly he was a blank card that every democrat has jumped on with his little experience. I wonder if he was being modest or using reverse psychology. A bumper Sticker wrote OBAMA , America's next great WHITE hope." I could be heard laughing down the road.

I hope to keep developing this blog and I'd love to show you some work too in the future.
