Celebrity look alike/ Happy Thanksgiving

Has anybody told you that you looked like a celebrity? Well Before I even knew who she even was I was told by several random people that I looked like Renee Zellwiger , this was just after I died my hair Blond and Chicago had yet to come out.
But I got a nice headshot, so I wanted to compare our facial features..boy was I suprised.

OMG it looks like me ^^; I usually don't draw her face, but I accidentally gave her my face, hands and feet. Paint chat's fun but it doesn't let you erase, I hope to work on it more in photoshop..by redrawing it correctly.

UNEARTHLY CHALLENGE 2009- 2D- Theatre de la Lune

HEre's my finished entry to UC 2009. I've learned alot, but next time I'll either do it 2d or just on object in 3d rather than the whole thing. If I do I'll have to join the 3der's and I'm not ready ^^;. My first environment and 3d base mesh. Learning Sketchup was blast but navigating the camera in and around was a pain.

The theme this year was "endgame"- end of the world or end boss level, point of no return etc. The Theatre de la Lune or theater of the moon caters to Vampires and humans are not allowed unless you want to be served up as the main event. The stage is set there's a sword that's your hope in the last battle, but it will take more than that to defeat the boss vampire, he can have his actors battle it on stage with you or mimic your teamates. If they suck the blood of your friends they become part of the boss vampires forces and you won't get them back. Your best friend has been captured it seems..they want to meet you at night. In the daytime you have the advantage of sabotaging their equipment.. Turn the mirrors in different directions or toward eachother or the east to reflect the dawn and switch the power on the globe higher than normal etc. That way when they go turn the lights They'll be temporarily blinded and in pain for you to make the finishing blow..or you fight until dawn and hope the rising sun will save you before it's too late. To finish off the vampire behead them with your GA sword or stab them in heart set the vampire on fire with your cigarette lighter , get friends and get the heck out. At least that's what I think is going on here.

THis combines my love and knowledge of Theater Design- a cross between Greek Ampitheater and Elizabethan Theater(shakespeare's globe) but for vampires will always need cover from the elements. The stages represent the main types of staging like proscenium (modern stage, audience in front), thrust stage(audience on three sides), and theater in the round or greek orkestra. Also they symbolize the phases of the moon from crescent to full. I was inspired by the globe, Palladio's villa rotunda and Gaudi's architecture. I hope to be doing more from this world.

Happy Halloween/ Deviant Art Halloween Contest Entry

I celebrated last week with doing a contest for Deviant Art's Mascot Fella, I got inspired by GA's BJ showing me a Conan O' Brien video called 1864 Basball. I was hooked 2 of my loves baseball and history!! Go Phillies hope you force the Yankees's
hand in the World Series. (I was crushed when the Angels lost). It still doesn't cool my hatred for the Team in Pinstripes. They have also crushed my other fave teams in past playoffs and series. ..AHEM..but here is my wips for Fella. I started with the template, we were all given.(but I found it limiting..and didn't know if for sure we had to use or not. So again I might get DQ'd for not obeying the rules which were written vaguely in the 1st place.

Going 3D UC Entry Basic Modeling in Sketchup

Twas the sketch dump before all hallow's

First off is my kittens with their barfing Jackolantern. Wanted to capture them before they started to leave the nest. Next, just some of some characters I haven't drawn in a while. First my very first characters the tall boy Andrew I always used to cut his head off on purpose because in scale he was taller then the rest. I also didn't have face for him,but now he has a face and was shrunk down to normal size by the wizard on the right. Third is a vampire that has been bitten without consent by some he trusted. Woot going to see a My Fair Lady at the Opera House tonight, it's one of my most favorite plays and Eliza has been a dream role of mine, because of the challenge of both accents and the singing. Although George Bernard Shaw wasn't to have them giving his Pygmaleon a happy ending. He actually wrote an essay epilogue about where the characters ended up and why it needed to be that way. Well in his original Eliza and Freddy got married and opened her Flower shop, but freddy ran off after an Heiress, couldn't stomach not having money. Higgins comes to gloat over her every once in awhile at the shop.

Patron St. of Holiday Spirits

Old work, but I revisted in order to put it into my online galleries, first was to just pump up the color and fix the angle of the bottle, maybe after I get some critique, I know how to finish it. But St. Sparrow is a parody of St. Nick, I started off with a badly spoofed parody of the poem "A visit from St. Nick"..wouldn't it be neat to have a guy give adults a treat to good grownups . So I made him a patron st. of Alcohol, my own version of Bacchus. Oh and this also parodies the vintage Coca-cola Illustrations done by Haddon Sunblom. It helped shaped our modern image of St. NIck along with Thomas Nast's Illustrations of the poem. I still love to read it with my friends every Christmas.

Unearthly Challenge Progress v2

The first two are Razvan's critiques and paintovers to help me out with angle and perspective.The next drawings are my version 2 of my theatre more Globe Theatre like (elizabethan theater) than ampitheater. Glass lanterns or now maybe glowing stones for the night lights. The point of contention now is the rotunda/cupula or dome wether it should be stained glass or clear. I'm still not sure if this quite the loo k I want since I usually go with my first choices(a bad habit I know), but I'm still exploring my options. Red moon, regular night with full moon. Corridor and house view of stage through columns..loose sketches nothing well painted yet.

UC, Team rivalry and more .

Lil' Grim and Rosemary have obtained Victory over their Pervy Martial arts teacher.I painted the Master's robes Green to bash Polycount members spamming gameartisans turf.

Next is my defacing the polycount logo and we haope to win the gold cup this year..Polycount won 1st and sec last years UC and we're looking to beat them this year but now we have competition from 2 other forums.

The rules have finally been posted after 5 weeks. END GAME is the theme for the enviornments..end of the game, final level,a boss battle an event before the end, aftermath of a battle all as an enviornment, no characters. Just the stage and lighting. I wat to The Celestial ampitheatre, but I have to make it fit in the theme. Maybe some battle damge or some moody lighting (before the boss battle).

Woogie, latest paintchat.

His name is Wolfgang "Woogie" Byte Harold Tristan / Wolfsong) Depending which father is actually chosen. Right now he is Woogie Tristan, Val and Siti's Son. If he is Josiah's son he would look more like an Alaskan Malamute with blue eyes. Val gave the name because he likes wiggle/boogle in time to the beat, esp. his tail. He is happily biting his rawhide bone and showing off his new teeth. The human look I'll base off my nephew, since he basically is the human version of Woogie. I love my nephew he's such a goofball.



Looks like Ryan has made a killing of his Spaghetti. This is my nephew and inspiration for woogie.

A fun sketch engine to help concept artist generate ideas. I love the mirror technique and random shapes. It helps gerate random shapes to come up with silhouette ideas. There's a video in the video section of importing the alchmey as a texture map into z-brush so you can carve the design into you clay figure. I would love to work in z-brush someday.

C-Team: Cordelia

These are sketches for a personal project with my friends. I hope this can be a Jolly holiday present as group Portrait of the C-Team.

The C-Team : a group of mercenaries that happned to be there at the time, since the Best teams the A-team and the B-team happened to be out on a mission these misfits were grouped together to become the C-team. They don't really care for one another, but they like adventure and money so these misfit finally find a place to be themselves.

First I'm Sketching out my Character: "Lady"(in the loosest sense) Cordelia Wicke, A courtesan with bloodlust. She loves being a part of intrigue, spying and fencing. She'll do practically anything to get what she wants.. Don't know if she has any redeeming qualities, but that's what makes her "ever so" fun!

Then there's our general and Money Handler george Micheal: Still have to find him..he's proven very elusive. Orc/troll hybrid, necromancer. MOneyhandler for the group.

Then..Lime Bell Lime Bell bell lime..etc or Limey for short are healer..a dirty, hobo..hippy teenager vagrant..who's an adept healer...much to his dismay.He tries to kill and dissect you but ends up doing life saving surgery instead.

MOre work to come as the rest of the year speds by. Hope to finish before last half of December.
